MORTE consolidates its position in the Middle East

MORTE‘s dies are heading into the markets of the Near East.

Two dies have recently been put into operation in two ceramic facilities in the city of Medina (Saudi Arabia): one in the ELMAIMANI RED BRICKS AND CLAY PRODUCTS plant, which produces 9-core hollow bricks and the other for 12-core hollow bricks at the SAUDI AL-SIRAT ceramic plant.

In both cases, they have chosen special 4-exit dies – the TM-EF model, top of the range. The cores and frame set come in tungsten carbide with AERAD slats, features whose materials are aimed particularly at large-scale ceramic plants whose clays are very abrasive.

Over recent months, MORTE has become a technological alternative unlike any used to date by the Saudi ceramic producers – who typically use chrome-plating. By contrast, MORTE offers cores and frame sets made using their own tungsten carbide formula, MOR-05, and non-welded slats (where the product type allows for this), under the name of AERAD, which provide greater stability for the extrusion.

The result of this new technology is productivity that is up to four or five times greater than is obtained when using chrome plating, making MORTE products the most profitable on the market.

The dies are currently at full production with some truly satisfactory results.

Moreover, since last year, MORTE is represented in IRAN through the Manoosh Co., which has a strong presence in the country.

The MORTE dies are consolidating their position in the ceramics industry in the Middle East, offering solutions in accordance with the needs and specific circumstances under which each client works.
