TM-EFF DIE

DESCRIPTION:

  • Housing composed of 4 plates (ENTU-1, ENTU-2, ENTU-3 and a plate with brakes).
  • CORE HOLDER fixing system, patented by MORTE.
  • Recommended for large production runs.

FEATURES

  • Clay flow regulation by double row of external brakes.
  • Modular core holder (independent parts) or single block, depending on the product to be extruded.
  • Maximum extrusion stability.
  • More uniform clay compaction.
  • Easy spare part replacement.
  • Any type of ceramic product can be extruded with this type of die (e.g. ceramic block, hollow brick, calibric, solid bricks, insulating blocks…)

CONFIGURATIONS

Plate with brakes: Plate of structural steel, good mechanical strength for attaching the die to the pressure head and positioning the second row of brakes.

Alloy steel:

Alloy steel and inner steel manufactured in treated steel:

  • Plate of structural steel, protected inside interchangeable inner steel to ensure longer die life.

Treated steel:

  • Steel subjected to hardening and tempering treatment.

Chrome coating:

  • Hard chrome coating on alloy steel base.

Alumina:

  • Made entirely in alumina oxide.

Tungsten carbide:

  • Our own formulation, MOR-05. This is the best anti-wear solution on the market.

Treated steel:

  • Steel subjected to hardening and tempering treatment.
