CEVISAMA 2025: INNOVATION, SUSTAINABILITY, AND COMMITMENT TO EUROPEAN PRODUCTS
The 41st edition of CEVISAMA was held in Valencia from February 23 to 27, 2025, marked by a strong commitment to high-quality ‘Made in Europe’ products, as well as to quality, sustainability, and technological innovation.
As the most important international trade fair for the ceramic sector in Spain, CEVISAMA featured the participation of 403 companies, 96% of which were European, primarily from Spain, Italy, and Portugal. These companies showcased the latest innovations in ceramics, bathrooms, construction materials, machinery, and technology for the ceramic industry across an exhibition space of over 50,000 square meters.
CEVISAMA remains a key platform for driving innovation and sustainability in the sector. The fair stands out for the presence of companies that invest in new technologies for ceramic manufacturing, promoting more efficient and eco-friendly processes. In this regard, many exhibitors presented products with a lower carbon footprint, material recycling systems, and smart solutions for construction.
A special mention goes to Brick Day, which took place on Wednesday, February 26. This event, organized by the Gremi de Rajolers de la Comunitat Valenciana in collaboration with HISPALYT, MORTE, and other industry companies, aimed to highlight the importance of the brick sector within the construction industry.
In the Joaquín Rodrigo Hall, the following three presentations were delivered:
- Work in Masonry: An awareness campaign on job opportunities linked to training programs offered by the Fundación Laboral de la Construcción in the Valencian Community and Galicia. These programs prepare students to work in new construction and renovation projects within small, medium, and large companies.
- Roadmap Project for the Decarbonization of the Brick and Tile Sector in the Valencian Community, presented by Ana Mezquita, a sustainability researcher at the Institute of Ceramic Technology (ITC).
- ITC’s Work Areas Related to Sustainable Construction, presented by Raúl Moliner.
