ECTS MEETING IN MUNICH ON THE OCCASION OF THE CERAMITEC EXHIBITION
On April 8th, the latest meeting of the ECTS association took place coinciding with the Ceramitec Exhibition in Munich. Several important topics for the ceramics industry were discussed.
- Reconstruction of Ukraine: This project is shaping up to be one of the biggest development challenges in Europe, although it still lacks a defined timeline. Some ECTS members noted the lack of building material producers in Poland. However, it was concluded that it is premature to invest in this project.
- Changes at Ceramitec: Maritta Lepp, director of the Ceramitec Exhibition, announced significant changes for future editions. The Exhibition will be held every two years instead of every three, and its duration will be reduced from four to three days. These changes aim to offer exhibitors greater flexibility and reduce participation costs.
- Possible Membership in ORGALIM: The possibility of ECTS joining ORGALIM, an organization that supports and represents European technology industry companies, was discussed.
At Talleres Morte, we decided not to attend Ceramitec this year for several strategic reasons. We believe it is not the right time to participate in fairs, especially for small companies like ours that produce consumables for the ceramics industry.
