Outstanding presence of MORTE in the TUĞLA-KİREMİT ZİRVESİ

The XIX edition of the TUĞLA-KİREMİT ZİRVESİ was held last March 23 in Ankara. MORTE attended for the first time to this event represented by Cristóbal Navas and David Bartolomé, with the inestimable collaboration of its representative in Turkey, AKTRACON.

This year´s meeting that marked the 20th anniversary of TUKDER (Turkish Association of Manufacturers of Bricks and Tiles), had a series of presentations that mainly dealt with the state of the Turkish economy and the construction sector in this country.

In turn, served to honor and rewards the most representative figures of the Turkish ceramic industry.

During the presentation made by MORTE, attendees were pleasantly impressed by the data referring to the wear-resistance of tungsten carbide MOR-05 in one of the main ceramics of the country, KIL-SAN Kil Sanayi ve Ticaret. A.Ş., by demonstrating that the number of bricks extruded using a TM-EF Die with a set of cores and a frame set in this material, is between 36 to 40 times greater than the number of bricks extruded with a Die whose parts are coated with Hard Chrome.
