THE 45th HISPALYT TECHNICAL MEETING BRINGS TOGETHER THE CERAMIC SECTOR TO FACE ITS KEY CHALLENGES
The 45th HISPALYT Technical Conference was held in Cuenca from June 5th to 7th. This event is the most significant annual meeting for the structural ceramic sector in Spain and serves as a key platform for sharing experiences and defining common strategies to address the regulatory and technical challenges of the market.
The meeting began on Thursday, June 5th, with a visit to the facilities of Cerámicas Mira, a leading plant in the production of ceramic materials, known for its commitment to innovation, energy efficiency, and sustainability.
The main event, the technical session, took place on Friday. It brought together experts from institutional, professional, and academic fields. The session addressed the sector’s main challenges, with particular attention to the common goals of safety, energy efficiency, digitalization, industrialization, and sustainability of ceramic products.
At the same time, a round table was held in which the speakers agreed on the need to address fire safety from a multifaceted perspective that combines regulatory review, public awareness, and the use of new technologies.
To conclude, at MORTE we would like to join in the tribute paid to Mr. Vicente Bayarri, Secretary of the Gremi de Rajolers of the Valencian Community, in recognition of his extensive career and dedication. This was a wonderful culmination of a very special event for us, coinciding with our company’s 50th anniversary.
